Leicester City ready £17m bid for Wilfred Ndidi
–        Reports in England have it that Leicester City are in advanced talks to sign Genk star Wilfred Ndidi – The Premier League champions are set to table £17million to land Ndidi Premier League champions Leicester City are in advanced talks to sign Genk star Wilfred Ndidi, sources close to the player have told ESPN FC. According to the report, the league champions are set to pay €20 million (£17million) to bring the Nigerian international to England.
Leicester City are desperate to bolster their squad in the January transfer window after a disappointing defence to their title, and they have lined up a deal for Ndidi as a replacement for Chelsea star Ngolo Kante. Ndidi is regarded as one of the best young players in Europe after impressing at Genk during the past 18 months.

The 19-year-old, who can play in defence or central midfield, has attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham. However, Leicester are planning to steal the deal to land Ndidi when the transfer window reopens in January. Should he joined Leicester, Ndidi will become the second Nigeria star at the club after Ahmed Musa, who joined ‘The Foxes’ in the summer.

''My goverment will no longer tolerate killing, kidnapping'' President Buhari

President Buhari has warned that his government would no longer tolerate wanton killings and kidnapping by hoodlums in any parrt of the country. President Buhari issued the warning when he declared  open the 9th General Assembly of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, holding in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. He was represented at the event by the  Minister of Interior, Abduraham Dambazau. I am very worried and saddened about the persistent killings and kidnappings happening in our country, especially the wastage of innocent lives in different parts of the country by whatever means it is done, particularly in Benue State. I have therefore directed that no effort should be spared in identifying and bringing to justice all those that are carrying out the acts. I have therefore directed the Chief of Army Staff to relocate to the North East to ensure that the activities of Boko Haram are stopped'' he said
