Woman stripped, forced to eat her faeces for stealing.
A suspected female thief was stripped naked and forced
to eat her own excrement after being accused of stealing.
The middle-aged woman identified as Gifty, had reportedly
attempted to steal from a woman identified as Christina Agyeiwaa, where she was
caught and beaten. According to her, she had planned to run an errand at
Dichemso from Atonsu in Kumasi,
Ghana, but can’t
explain how she ended up in Christina’s room at Fabulous Hotel, Dichemso.
She was beaten, stripped naked and eventually forced to eat
her own faeces which was found inside her handbag. According to the angry
youths who meted out their own form of justice on her, it had become a normal
thing for thieves to like Gifty to pretend to be mad when caught, and they
carry faeces about just so they can rub it all over themselves to avoid
beatings or even arrest.
